polygonal approximator · python, 2024

An evolution-based program that converts images into the vertices of polygons, or the foci of ellipses, badly. Output was fed to Desmos for rendering, which was never the plan and became the best part.

A collection of scripts written for the parsing of large databases and the automation of indignities. Most move data from where it is to where I would prefer it. Several were used once and never again, which was the correct number of times.

a typeset desktop · hyprland, 2026

Configuration for a lock screen, and then a widget that turns the desktop into a tastefully set information hub. I am told this is all the rage amongst the youth.

Set entirely in Computer Modern: the typewriter cut for the frame, the roman for prose. Every rule on the page is the character ─ rather than a border, which means the lines are typeset alongside the text instead of drawn around it. Nobody asked for this.
